December 12, 2011: GBSA and QFCA gather leaders to discuss Project Bonds in the GCC region.
A series of distinguished speakers and panelists shared their thoughts on the role of Project Bonds in the region with an invited audience at the Intercontinental Hotel. Panelists delved into subjects such as, “What goes into a successful project bond transaction”, “What will it take for project bonds to take off in the Gulf” and “What kinds of projects will find funding in 2012 and beyond”. The idea of financing clean energy in the Gulf through “Green Project Bonds was also introduced.
